I am trying to raise money to get my child kicked started into daycare.  He has no siblings and there aren’t much in the way of free centers for him to associate with other children that are not religious organizations; nor do I know anyone out here with children that live in a decent household (meaning a house free of drinkers, smokers, drug users/dealers and gang bangers).  He is 2 and a half years old.  Some of the money will also go toward renewing my lost passport and getting him one so that I can take him out to see the world outside of this secluded neighborhood.  One day in a few years from now, I want to take him to Egypt, where part of his ancestry is from.  Possibly even Europe too.

I will also be using a small section of the funds for two personal visits.  One is a visit to an old friend that I have not seen in many years.  She needs some moral support and I want to be there for her.  The other is a visit to someone that I have been talking to but have not had the chance to meet.  I admire this person and I would like to see them at least once before either of us dies.  The sooner the better.
